 Spirit Animals - Fire and Ice by Shannon Hale



Spirit Animals Fire and Ice is about six kids Meilin, Abeke, Conor, Tarik, Maya and Rollan who are trying to find a massive polar bear. They need to find the polar bear to get the talisman. The talisman is important because it helps their spirit animals and their spirit animals help them. For example, Maya’s spirit animal, a salamander, helps her make fireballs. 


I found this book really interesting, there was lots going on and you never know what was going to happen next!! I recommend this book for eight year olds (there is some violence towards the end). It is good if you are into mythical stories and if you like cliffhangers this book is for you.

    Great work Tulsi. I'm sure your review will encourage other children to read this book. I like the way you have summerised the plot, told us about the characters and also given your personal opinion. I wonder what you are reading next?
